New Project Team Member!

The JAY Games Team continues to grow!

We're excited to announce that Ty Ferrell is joining our Under the desert sun™ project team as the Weapons Artist for the Blade of Ifrit - the most critical non-player element of the game! Ty brings nearly a decade of experience working with 2D and 3D animation in the entertainment industry - GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition and State of Decay 2 are among his AAA credentials. He lives in Florida and has a deep passion for storytelling and bringing narratives to life through compelling visual projects. In his role on the Under the desert sun project team, Ty is taking point on the design of the Blade of Ifrit, a mystical weapon that players (and NPCs) will encounter that has the potential to shatter everyone's understanding of the known world. As with our other artists, Ty will own the IP for his art and is participating in profit-sharing for all game sales/publications and paid-play experiences. At JAY Games, we believe in fairly compensating artists for their individual work and are committed to never using AI - as part of this commitment, all artists receive shared profits from sales of the game, paid-play experiences, and any other publications that feature their art. We believe that this collaborative partnership helps build the best immersive world for Players to experience our stories - and separates us from other game development companies.

We're excited for you to experience Ty's art in Under the desert sun when it's completed - and in future releases from JAY Games! After all, the story of A Qán adventure™ is only just beginning... and a mystical weapon this powerful will only become more important to the worldbuilding and your next TTRPG experience! Under the desert sun is expected to be released digitally right here on Itch.io at the end of May with physical releases - proudly printed by local companies in Chicagoland - for sale on our website in the US and Canadian markets (with future markets to come!)
